GT is a widely used seal manufactured as a set composed of fabric reinforced support ring, sealing ring and fabric reinforced energiser. GT3 (composed of three lements) is applied in double acting cylinders and GT5/GT7 (composed of five / seven elements) that are used in rod applications where harsh working conditions are present. The GT can be regulated in the number of elements (height) when fluid pressure varies as found in hydraulic presses and pumps. For high pressure, special applications, or the presence of particular chemical agents, the standard NBR/fabric can be substituted with NBR/FKM material.
