Sending pressure to the V port supplies the utility connected to it and the excess pressure is discharged to the V1 port. To adjust the maximum pressure on the V ports, use valve A. Vice versa, use valve B for the same operation on the V1 ports. Pressure adjustment is sensitive to any counter pressure on the discharge line.
